Frequently asked questions.
What services do you provide?
We do installations, maintenance, and repair for heating and cooling units, including air purifiers, humidifiers, and fans.
Do you offer any guarantees?
For any new parts we install, we guarantee that part for a year, in line with industry standards.
How long will the unit last?
HVAC systems usually last 20 - 30 years with proper maintenance, as long as there are yearly inspections and timely filter changes.
Can I skip an inspection?
Inspections allow us to identify issues, and delaying maintenance can lead to costly repairs or replacements. For example, we had a job one time where a condensation hose had slipped out of place. The rust built up and damaged the components to the extent that the whole unit had to be replaced. This could have been caught and prevented through a regular inspection.
The filter needs to be changed every one to three months. If it isn’t changed, not only does the system get clogged, but the air quality decreases. You may be breathing pollutants, pollens, mold, and dust.
How can I maintain our heater?
Why are there hot and cold spots in my house?
Uneven temperature distribution may indicate issues with unit size, ductwork, or ventilation, requiring professional evaluation.
How can I decrease our energy bill?
Upgrading to newer, more efficient units can decrease energy bills, but homeowners and business owners will need weigh the initial investment against the long-term savings.
